James N. Kahn 
Glendale, California

            James N. Kahn is a graduate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California (J.D., 2003).  Prior to working at Bradley & Gmelich, Mr. Kahn worked at a firm doing general litigation practice, which primarily focused on civil aviation defense. Mr. Kahn also worked on issues related to employment and labor, intellectual property, and human rights law in the international context. 

            While attending law school, Mr. Kahn was an Associate/ Fellow in the Donald E. Biederman Entertainment & Media Law Institute, was a Member of the Student/ Faculty Relations Committee, and the 2002-2003 Co-Chairperson of the Media Law Forum.  During the law school's 2001 Intramural Moot Court Competition, Mr. Kahn was an oral argument finalist. 

           Admitted to the State Bar of California in June 2004, Mr. Kahn is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, US District Court for the Southern District of California, US District Court for the Northern District of California.  Mr. Kahn is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. 

            Mr. Kahn's trial experience includes both bench and jury trials in California state court, and jury trial experience in United States District Court.  Mr. Kahn's appellate practice experience includes drafting briefs and making oral arguments before both the California Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

            Mr. Kahn enjoys music, film, the arts, the Los Angeles Lakers and enjoys playing golf and tennis.
